Our SHOC, 4 valve, carburetor engines are easy to work on by both the motorcycle dealer network and the DIY service gearheads.
For example our valves uses locknut and screw adjusters, eliminating the complexity of the shim over/under bucket system. The valves can be checked and adjusted by removing the tappet covers with the engine in place. Automatic cam chain adjusters ensures that the cam chain requires no adjustment during the normal service intervals.
note: all service items available from any motorcycle dealer nationally – oil, spark plugs, chain, sprockets, etc
